Sarah will be attending a four-year university come the fall and hopes to pursue graduate school later on. Sarah decided to join Squan-a-Thon because ever since she was little she has had had big dreams for herself. She believe that everybody should be able to achieve their dreams. Children with cancer do not always have this opportunity and it really is a shame because who knows what these kids might accomplish in their lives. She decided to join Squan-a-Thon not only to help others in need, but because of personal experiences that changed her outlook on life. People with cancer pray for what most of us take for granted, such as the ability to eat food and walking around, socializing with friends and family. Being able to be a part of the committee her senior year was important to her because she did it the previous 3 years and wanted to play a bigger part in the whole event.
